The Lay Carmelites (Third Order Secular of the Order of Carmelites) are Roman Catholic men and women called to seek God’s will in the ordinary circumstances of everyday life. They are part of an 800-year-old tradition of prayer, community, and ministry. They share a deep spirituality embraced by St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, St. Mary Magdalen de'Pazzi, and others.
